As a dealer of HIGH FORMAT® hardscapes, we thought it would be helpful to explain the history behind Rosetta of Michigan’s rebrand to HIGH FORMAT®.

With a focus on quality and innovation in Rosetta Hardscapes wetcast products and ultra high-performance concrete technology, HIGH FORMAT® is known for creating distinctive, large-scale walls and slabs that are easy to use and install.

In 2008, HIGH FORMAT® became the first original producer of Rosetta Hardscapes, operating under the name “Rosetta of Michigan”. HIGH FORMAT® and Rosetta Hardscapes are both part of the Manthei Group; however, each is a distinct business with its own purpose, leadership, and team.

In 2020, “Rosetta of Michigan” rebranded as HIGH FORMAT® to clearly distinguish themselves as a separate entity from Rosetta Hardscapes. This shift gave the flexibility to expand product offerings beyond the manufacturing of wetcast concrete. Today, HIGH FORMAT® continues to produce walls, steps, and pavers using Rosetta Hardscapes technology, while also offering a full line of large-format, ultra-high-performance concrete slabs as well as an extensive selection of natural stone products.

HIGH FORMAT®’s sales network spans Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and parts of Indiana and Illinois.

Rosetta Hardscapes

Rosetta Hardscapes develops advanced wetcast concrete technology and licenses it to more than 30 producers worldwide. Each licensed producer operates within a specific geographic region, manufacturing their products you know and love.

Rosetta Hardscapes also provides comprehensive technical, product, and sales support across all territories. As a result, you’ll often see marketing materials that feature both Rosetta Hardscapes and an individual producer working together, such as HIGH FORMAT®.
